Nereis Table Lamp

Nereis takes its name from the Latin word for sea nymphs, mythological beings who embodied the mystery and allure of the ocean’s depths. In ancient lore they were protectors of sailors, guiding them safely through perilous waters. The lamp carries this sense of quiet presence like a beacon of hope.

A smaller-scale piece, it is cast in dark bronze with polished edges and paired with a handmade Hosho paper shade. The contrast of the deep patina, gleaming highlights, and the delicacy of the paper creates a quiet balance of strength and lightness.
